She'll enjoy an "heirloom" to pass on to future generations, right? I hope you find relief for the pain you're suffering in your hands. Did you finish it? I'm an avid crocheter; since January 2013 I've created 8 afghans and lapghans (of 13 I plan to make) for our 2 townhouses to start construction in June '13. I finished a wool/acrylic blanket using 2 strands of yarn: deep red/brown and dark orange/hot pink/gold with a strand of metallic for our younger son's bed. He uses it on top of his down comforter because it's COLD during our long winters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I started as soon as the yarn arrived, i have started with a cushion cover, I did five waves then had to stop as I had three days at work. Can't wait to get going again today. I love the rythm of the pattern and it is so easy to remember. I love the story behind your blanket, I may have to make one for my Grandaughter who is due next month, Best Wishes from me at Blue Anchor Bay :) xxx

Jacquelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05025605881488281428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-578607779448469665.post-12185391650559785042013-03-24T00:59:34.853+00:002013-03-24T00:59:34.853+00:00It's so gorgeous well done,I wish I could make...It's so gorgeous well done,I wish I could make one, maybe one day xx Manda xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17407629121962352430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-578607779448469665.post-71616312298136197282013-03-23T22:29:11.827+00:002013-03-23T22:29:11.827+00:00What a stunning family heirloom 'comfort' ...What a stunning family heirloom 'comfort' blanket you're creating, with memories stitched into all those ripples.
